Southeastern Indiana Rural Electric
Membership Corporation (REMC),
headquartered in Osgood, Indiana, is a
member-owned corporation that has supplied
electric power to member-owners since its
incorporation on April 29,1939.

Annual
Meeting

Every year the
Southeastern
Indiana REMC holds
an annual meeting
that is open to
all
members. Each
electric consumer
who has an account
with us in their
name is considered
to be a member.
The REMC is
governed by a
Board of Directors
who are elected by
the
members at the
annual meeting.
Each board member
represents a
particular
district within
the REMC service
territory. The
annual meeting is
an opportunity for
members to review
the
operations of the
cooperative for
the proceeding
year. Members
attending are
registered for
door prizes and
receive chances to
draw from a money
barrel. Members
also can have
various health
checks provided by
local
hospitals. Kids
are served
ice-cream and
entertained
during the
meeting. Last year
a lively animal
show kept the
children very busy
!

Jac-Cen-Del High
School in Osgood,
with
registration from
11:00 A.M. – 1:00
