LEGAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND CONSIDERATION OF
PROPOSED RULES BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF SOUTHEASTERN REMC,
in the matter of TITLE I OF THE ENERGY POLICY ACT OF 2005

 

            The Notice is hereby given that the Board of Directors of Southeastern Indiana REMC will conduct
a public hearing to receive public comment on its proposed policy concerning five standards: net metering,
time based metering and communications, distributed generation interconnections, fuel source diversity,
and fossil fuel plant efficiency. The purpose of the hearing is to allow input from the public concerning each
of the five standards.  Comments should focus on the benefits and cost of the standards to the
member-owners of the Southeastern Indiana REMC. Comments may be presented in orally or in writing
at the hearing or written comments may be delivered to the office of the REMC at: 712 S. Buckeye
St. Osgood, IN 47037. Written comments or reply comments will be accepted for 7 days following
the hearing.  Copies of the proposed policies will be available for public viewing at the office of the
REMC fourteen days prior to the scheduled hearing date or may be also viewed by visiting the
cooperative’s web site
at www.seiremc.com. The public hearing will be held on Tuesday, May 22,
2007 at 7:00 p.m.
