SCHEDULE GP - GREEN POWER
OPTIONAL RENEWABLE ENERGY RIDER

AVAILABILITY
This Rider is available to consumers
receiving service under Schedule A-5
Non-Commercial Electric Service. This
Rider is for the purchase of energy
from renewable resources (predominantly
landfill methane gas generation).
Consumers requesting service under this
optional Rider must remain on the Rider
for a minimum of 12 months.
Southeastern Indiana REMC reserves the
right to limit the total number of
participants under this Rider.
RENEWABLE RESOURCES
Energy sold pursuant to this Rider is
generated using renewable resources.
While the Cooperative expects that
power generated from renewable
resources will be readily available on
the wholesale market, the Cooperative
makes no guarantee that such resources
will be available at all times. If the
Cooperative determines that for any
reason that renewable resources are
unavailable or insufficient to furnish
the retail consumer purchases
hereunder, the Cooperative may suspend
application of this Rider. When the
renewable resources again become
available, the Cooperative may resume
application of this Rider.
SUPPORT OF ENVIRONMENTAL ACTIVITIES
OR ORGANIZATIONS
The Cooperative will support through
net revenues generated by application
of this Rider the following:
· Research and development of new
renewable resources, through
not-for-profit organizations
· Environmental education, or
· Other local activities or programs of
which the purpose is consistent with
protecting the
environment.
MONTHLY RATE
In addition to the total charges
determined under the concurrent rate
schedule applicable to the consumer,
the following charge shall apply:
Renewable energy will be billed in
increments of 100 kWh blocks, up to a
total 1,000 kWh block at a rate of
$.040 per kWh.
Over 1,000 kWh per month: Not
available.
TERMS OF PAYMENT
This Rider is subject to the payment
options and terms of payment as set
forth on the
concurrent rate.
SEPARATE AGREEMENT REQUIRED
Consumer shall execute a separate green
power "Enviro-Watts" Agreement included
with this rider as Attachment "1".
OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Except as stated in this Rider, all
Terms and Conditions of Service as set
forth in the concurrent rate that
qualifies the consumer for the
renewable energy program shall apply to
service provided under this Rider.
