Enviro-Watts is our name for green power—energy generated from renewable, environmentally preferred sources like biomas, sun wind, water and geothermal springs.  When you participate in this voluntary program, we will buy renewable energy from an environmentallypreferred source.  

The supply of renewable energy is limited.  It is priced at a premium.  Enviro-Watts cost 4 cents per kilowatt more than kilowatt-hours purchased under our standard general service rate.  If you buy 100-kilowatt hours per month, you pay an additional $4 per month.

 

As more electricity is sold through the Enviro-Watts program, more renewable energy will be purchased.
