Duct Sealing

A duct system that is well-designed and properly sealed can make your home more comfortable, energy efficient, and safer.

  • Electric heated homes: 100% of the sealing cost up to a maximum of $500.
  • Fossil fuel (gas heated) with central air or heat pump: Maximum $250.
  • Both supply and return ducts must be sealed and insulated if in an unconditioned space.
  • Ducts must be sealed with a minimum of 1/16″ mastic
  • Work must be done by a HVAC contractor. An invoice must be submitted to receive rebate.
