New Member Resources

We understand it can be overwhelming to navigate all the resources that come with a new service. Here are some places to start!

All members of Southeastern Indiana REMC are invited to attend our annual meeting, which typically takes place in March. Attending the annual meeting gives you an opportunity to learn more about the cooperative, win prizes, and elect the Board of Directors.

Bill Inserts are monthly newsletters that are sent in the mail along with your monthly bill. If you pay your bill electronically, you can access an electronic version.

We are a not-for-profit electric cooperative governed by a nine-person Board of Directors. One member from each of the nine districts of the cooperative is elected by the members to serve a three-year term on the Board of Directors. 

As a nonprofit, we encourage you to take a look at our bylaws to learn more about how we operate as a cooperative.

Indiana Connection, a monthly magazine published especially for Indiana’s electric cooperative members, is one way the REMC informs and educates its members. Indiana Connection is available not only in a print format but as an electronic publication as well, for those who prefer getting their information on their electronic devices.
