SEIREMC offers huge member discounts on the total home backup generator, portable generators and optional equipment. Member costs may vary depending on additional materials needed for install.

Our Load Control Specialist will walk through your home and identify areas that need attention.  Low cost, simple measures like caulking, insulating, etc. can make a huge difference in the comfort level and lowering of the electric usage in your home.

Affordable, sustainable and safe supply of solar electricity is being offered in partnership with our wholesale provider, Hoosier Energy. Monthly payment option.

Up Front Option

Affordable, sustainable and safe supply of solar electricity is being offered in partnership with our wholesale provider, Hoosier Energy. One-time payment of $500.

Operation Round Up® provides funding assistance to approved eligible applicants located within the counties of: Dearborn, Franklin, Jefferson, Jennings, Ohio, Ripley, and Switzerland as served by Southeastern Indiana REMC. Grant cycle deadlines are due the last working day of the months of December and June. Board meets in January and July. 

Separate from the Southeastern Indiana REMC board of directors, this non-paid board will evaluate applications made to the program and make recommendations for issuing of grants. The board will have a set of bylaws by which to operate.

Since a cooperative’s “shareholders” are also the people the co-op serves, capital credits reflect each member’s ownership in the cooperative. Business form.

Class of 2022

SEIREMC awards three $500 scholarships to eligible graduating Seniors going into post-secondary education. All eligible applicants will be entered into a drawing, which will take place during the REMC’s virtual annual meeting.

Member Consent Form

Residential consumers receive service under the TOU rate for a minimum of 12 consecutive months. Energy charges vary between off-peak, on-peak and critical-peak times. The rate incentivizes members to adjust routines and shift energy use to off-peak periods.

Rebate for a new constructed water heater or replacing another water heater (gas or electric). Rebate available only for Heat Pump or Hybrid Water Heaters, minimum 40 gallon all-in-one units. There is no incentive for electric resistance tank or tankless water heaters.
