Indiana’s electric cooperatives are now accepting applications from high school juniors (fall 2027 seniors) for Indiana Youth Tour — the trip of a lifetime to our nation’s capital!

Indiana Youth Tour offers a unique, immersive opportunity for students to see government in action, explore historic landmarks, and connect with over 1,800 peers from across the country. This educational trip brings classroom learning to life through real-world experiences!

TRIP DATES: June 16–23, 2027

Southeastern Indiana REMC will be sponsoring two students to attend at no cost to students or families.​

TRIP HIGHLIGHTS:

• Explore Washington, D.C. Landmarks: Visit the Lincoln Memorial, the National Mall, and the U.S. Capitol.

• Engage with Legislators: Attend meetings on Capitol Hill with Indiana’s congressional delegation.

• Build Connections: Network with student leaders from across Indiana and the country through group experiences.
