Southeastern Indiana REMC is accepting applications to fill the following positions:

OPERATIONS REPRESENTATIVE

We're seeking a detail-oriented professional with strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills to support the daily operations of our electric system.

Primary duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing administrative and operational support to the Operations Department

  • Coordinating work orders, reports, and departmental records

  • Assisting with outage restoration coordination and member communications

  • Processing work requests and supporting line crews and field operations

  • Coordinating utility locates and other operational activities

  • Maintaining accurate records and assisting with department projects

  • Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Associate degree preferred

  • Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree

  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer applications

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

INVENTORY & PURCHASING MANAGER

We're seeking a detail-oriented leader with strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills to oversee inventory, purchasing, and warehouse operations supporting our electric and fiber services.

Primary duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Leading inventory control and warehouse operations

  • Managing purchasing activities, purchase orders, and vendor relationships

  • Monitoring inventory levels and maintaining accurate inventory records

  • Coordinating material distribution for electric and fiber projects

  • Conducting inventory audits and reconciling discrepancies

  • Negotiating purchasing agreements and supporting cost-effective procurement

  • Supporting material logistics during storm restoration and emergency response

  • Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field preferred

  • Three to five years of inventory management, purchasing, warehouse, or utility operations experience preferred

  • Knowledge of purchasing procedures, inventory control, and warehouse operations

  • Experience with ERP or inventory management software

  • Strong organizational, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
