Southeastern Indiana REMC is accepting applications to fill the following positions:

FIBER SERVICE & CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

We're seeking a strong leader with excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills to oversee fiber construction, installation, maintenance, and restoration while supporting exceptional service for our electric and fiber members.

Primary duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Supervising fiber technicians and contractors involved in construction, installations, maintenance, and repairs

  • Coordinating residential and commercial fiber construction, service delivery, and outage restoration

  • Monitoring project quality, safety, and compliance with company standards and regulations

  • Coordinating with contractors, property owners, utilities, and internal departments to support fiber projects

  • Maintaining construction documentation, work orders, and project records

  • Assisting with network planning, system upgrades, and process improvements

  • Providing leadership, technical guidance, and training to fiber staff

  • Responding to member inquiries and supporting installation scheduling and service-related issues

  • Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in a related field preferred; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree

  • Leadership experience with strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Knowledge of fiber optic construction, installation, testing, and maintenance practices preferred

  • Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining quality, safety, and customer service standards

  • Commitment to fostering a safe work environment and delivering exceptional member service
