IT ARCHITECT

We're seeking an IT Architect to design, implement, and maintain our IT infrastructure and cybersecurity systems. This role ensures secure, reliable networks, disaster recovery, and compliance with industry standards, while collaborating with internal teams and external partners. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Architect and maintain networks, firewalls, switches, routers, servers, and fiber optic connections

  • Lead cybersecurity initiatives including multi-factor authentication, server upgrades, and PCI compliance

  • Develop and manage disaster recovery systems and failover solutions

  • Automate network operations and optimize LAN, Wi-Fi, and fiber network performance

  • Collaborate with vendors and partners on infrastructure projects and technical enhancements

  • Conduct security assessments, incident response planning, and tabletop exercises

  • Maintain detailed system documentation and ensure IT/OT segmentation compliance

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Network Administration, or related field

  • Experience with IT infrastructure, network monitoring, and cybersecurity best practices

  • Strong problem-solving, scripting/automation, and communication skills

  • Ability to compute, document, and maintain accurate records

  • Networking and/or cybersecurity certification is a plus (e.g. CompTIA, CCNA, etc.)

MARKETING & MEMBER ENGAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Ready to blend creativity, strategy, and community impact? Southeastern Indiana REMC is seeking a Marketing and Member Engagement Specialist to drive growth, engagement, and awareness for our electric and fiber services.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Lead digital marketing campaigns that connect members to the cooperative difference

  • Manage social media platforms and community outreach initiatives

  • Design and implement creative engagement strategies and email campaigns

  • Plan and coordinate community events and promotional activities

  • Analyze performance metrics to measure success and guide future efforts

  • Collaborate with internal teams to turn ideas into measurable results

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (Associate degree with 3-5 years experience considered)

  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing, sales, or engagement

  • Strong writing, communication, and project-management skills

  • Proficiency in social media, Google Ads/Analytics, and email marketing platforms

  • A passion for creative storytelling and member connection
